On our recent Sovereign Court demolition project, DDS Demolition introduced a new method of keeping the local residents up to date with the project progress. A bespoke website was created to display regular updates on our project programme; which milestones have been completed and which are still outstanding. The website also displays a live time-lapse photo feed, which updates in fifteen minute intervals.
Furthermore, the portal offers the ability to allocate key scheme stakeholders the use of the website as a central messaging platform where limitless attachments can be uploaded either to a central cache or sent to other users specifically.
“Ultimately we are living in the digital age – the average person doesn’t look to hard print for information anymore but to the world wide web” stated Business Development & Marketing Manager, Tom Worrall “This is something we considered carefully as we implemented a method of keeping the residents up-to-date. We asked ourselves that if the project were on our doorstep how would we like to be given access to this information and this online information portal was the answer – it is accessible from anywhere, at any time, it can’t be lost or misplaced and is more environmentally friendly than the alternative letter drop. Now that the template is in place we hope we can use this for other clients on high profile schemes in the future”.
