Good News for TW Services

DDS Demolition’s sister company, TW Services has been granted planning permission to build a new £22 million waste to energy plant in Richborough, Kent. This state of the art facility will utilise the latest aerobic digestion technologies to convert foods and green waste into compost and electricity. In addition to increasing their ever improving total recycling rate, this new facility will create up to 80 jobs within the local community.

It is anticipated that the 20 acre site will recycle up to 750,000 tonnes of waste a year, getting TW Services ever closer to their ultimate goal of ensuring nothing goes to landfill. TW Services’ ongoing commitment to recycling and environmental improvement is one of the core values at the heart of all companies within the 1948 group.

Construction of the new plant is due to start imminently.

“It is with great pleasure that I can announce that today 10th May 2011 Kent County Council have granted TW Services permission for a new multi million pound ENERGY PLANT at Richborough, Kent.
